Dear Parent(s)/Carers,
As you will be aware, there is a lot of press surrounding Coronavirus at present and I am writing to share some government guidance (see link below).
https://publichealthmatters.blog.gov.uk/2020/01/23/wuhan-novel-coronavirus-what-you-need-to-know/
At Thorne Manor we are having conversations about the importance of hygiene and washing hands and it would be useful to reiterate this with your children at home.
As I'm sure you are aware, we take cleanliness and hygiene very seriously here at Thorne Manor. Washing hands happens continuously with our children and we are always cleaning toys and resources throughout sessions.
The only thing I ask of you is that should you become aware of children or members of family who contract the virus then please inform us immediately so we can consider appropriate action. Could you also let me know if you or immediate family members have been travelling to and from contaminated areas of the world.
Whilst at present the risks are relatively small, it is important we are proactive in seeking to reduce the risks as much as possible.
Here at Thorne Manor we will continue to take government advice and we will keep you informed should there be further developments.
Kind regards
Sid Badham
