Thorne Manor Day Nursery and Pre School, near Holsworthy Devon is now able to run forest school sessions six times a week, providing children with the opportunity to learn in an outdoor environment, following the forest school ethos.
Children have access to vast woodland, where they build dens, a pond where they observe wildlife and a camp fire where we enjoy many other great activities.
Outdoor learning not only follows the EYFS it benefits childrens self esteem and confidence.
